By now all our readers must be aware or even have been personally affected in one way or another by the COVID-19 outbreak. It comes thus as no big surprise that, for the same reason, it was decided to postpone the training week in Wales from 9-13 March to 14-18 September. This change will have the following consequences:
- the project presentations of Isle Utilities and Welsh Water initially planned for 9 March at the offices of Welsh Water in Cardiff will be held online on Teams. Invitations to attend the presentations with a link to the Teams call will be sent out separately
- the training week in Wales will replace the week which was initially planned in Norway from 14 to 18 September, moving the Norway training week to May/June 2021
- the project presentation for Welsh Water will also be held live during the new schedule of the week in September
- the new project start-ups of De Watergroep and European Water Stars will also be held online via Teams instead of live in Cardiff on 13th of March. Invitations will be sent only to team participants and clients.
It’s unfortunate that our programme could not go according to plan, but we trust that by making use of the online mediums we can still deliver on our activities while avoiding the risk of contributing to this widespread health threat.
Stay safe, wash your hands, and join us online 😉
