Launching of Working Group Human Capital – Water Europe

The Working Group Human Capital (WGHC) of Water Europe is not only launched during Water Innovation Europe, EJWP1 has also started working in collaboration with the Working Group on their first project.

The scope of the WGHC is to create sensitivity within the water sector to the human factor of the sector at European level and positioning the European water sector as a reference in this domain by the definition of a common agenda, creating possibilities and its level of expertise. We want inclusive organisation with not only eye for the technical view of innovations but also room to development of innovations to the human capital.

In this context the EJWP1 have opened a consultation for the water sector on human capital with the objective to stress this topic with our members and also map the situation. This starting point will be followed by a paper on the European situation on the different aspects of Human capital (skills, labour mobility, knowledge transfer, participation of citizens, demographic aspects…). Please, if you not have done yet, fill in the consultation – here.

The results of the project of EJWP1 will be presented at September 9 in Delft, The Netherlands during the first Working Group Workshop on the current status of Human Capital in Europe.

Interest to join the workshop? Or be part of the working group? You are most welcome! Please contact WG Leader, Naomi Timmer (ntimmer@juniorwaterprogramme.eu)
